Dionysus was the god of fertility & wine. Later he had consider arts. He invented wine and spread the art of tending grapes. He was the son of Zeus and Semele. He is the only god thaty has an mortal parents. Dionysus had problems with Hera. She still jealous and arranged for the Titans to kill him. They had ripped him into pieces. Rheabrought him back to life. Zeus arranged for his protection and turned him over the mountain nymphs to be raised. Dionysus is also one of the few that was able to bring a dead person out of the underworld. He journeyed into the underworld to find Semele.

My opinion is that he was a half good half bad Greek god. He came across a lot of people in his journey. The weapon that he uses is odd. He was the only one who did art work with grapes and I thought that it was kind of cool. I love how his powers are. He only had two women in his life. He had positive and negative people in his life.
